Aleksander is father to three beautiful daughters and grandfather to a fabulous grandson! Aleksander is fearless when it comes to confronting injustice within and outside his nation. After two wars devastated his city and international sanctions were imposed (almost bringing the nation to its knees), Aleksander sought a way to reach out to his people and give them hope.

A new church building was erected and people from all walks of life are welcomed. They reach out to the marginalised in their community and now are responsible for a Drug and Alcohol Rehab centre. There young people are helped overcome their addiction and discover a new way of living with purpose. The Centre now has a small holding where crops are grown and chickens and rabbits are reared for sale.
