Sarajevo Sasa & Drina Nicolinovic
They are very much involved in their local community as well as Sarajevo the capital, especially amongst the students at the University of Sarajevo. The church works amongst the refugees which still remain in the city and surrounding towns from the war in the late 1990's when the breakup of the former Yugoslavia devastated the country. They continue to supply humanitarian aid to many families and endeavour to encourage and support wherever possible. Sasa and his team head up the annual national summer camps for children youth and adults; another initiative is to support and sponsor young people who want to further their education.
CURRENT PROJECT - 'FLOODGATES' Due to the massive flooding in recent weeks, we have launched this FINANCIAL project to alleviate suffering and to get help quickly to those most in need. SPRING 2014 PROJECT A 13m (44ft) TRUCK TRAILER was sent on 28th May and arrived on base 2nd June; to all who helped and loaded the truck... Thank you!
